I know, I know. November is more than halfway over which means that it is past time to start on the holiday gift knitting. There are also several selfish WIP's needing my attention. This is no time to get sidetracked! shouts the Voice of Reason.
I didn't listen. Somehow I found myself distracted by intarsia, rickrack ribbing and bright colors. The yarn is Sheep(ish) by Vickie Howell. I have a ton of it in my stash. What do you think...maybe I can turn this into a Christmas gift ;)
(linking up with WIP Wednesday)
Rick rack ribbing! I was looking for this stitch pattern for a long time. Now I know how it's called. Looking great! Thank you <3
ReplyDeleteHow could I have forgotten about Rick Rack Ribbing. I love that stitch!!! Now you have me thinking, hmm, a cowl???
ReplyDeleterick rack ribbing??? oh my.....i've got to go cast on!!! (new to me...where have i been?????)
ReplyDeleteRickrack ribbing ... hmmmm. Perhaps leg warmers? I'm VERY intrigued!
ReplyDeleteSooooo Pretty ! I love the colors and I love that yarn. I don't have any but I just looked at it at Joann's and OMGosh the colors ! They just glisten and I want to make something out of every single color. lol ! I have to admit... I didn't have a clue as to what rick-rack-ribbing is but it sure is pretty.
ReplyDeleteOoh it's lovely, of course it sidetracked you! I am also horribly behind on holiday crafting, and yet playing with all sorts of other fun projects, too. Sigh. I don't like feeling I'm forced to make things, so perhaps you are the same way and that's why you get sidetracked?
