I love the colour and I know what you mean about the pattern. I love a simple sock for sheer knitting pleasure.
What a great idea for the cushion cover, it works beautifully as a chair seat.HillyThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03036076968239461363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748150035160477009.post-5404033788207296832015-03-20T06:11:29.496-04:002015-03-20T06:11:29.496-04:00Beautiful colours! I love the having one done and a match on the needles... as long as it doesn't languish there too long!

I adore the seat cover. Excellent match to that gorgeous antique chair.

As for taking pics of socks, I set up my tripod, camera pointing down, set the timer for 12 seconds and do a mad dash slide under it to get the shot. Loads of dust bin pics, but usually one or two will be gold! Or I do the pretzel yoga thing with a pulled muscle for a few days after. :PAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777508887808162304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748150035160477009.post-27690270720554064742015-03-06T17:57:21.598-05:002015-03-06T17:57:21.598-05:00I understand what you mean about the two at a time...I understand what you mean about the two at a time socks...I can do it, but I don't enjoy it. And then forgot to use cold water and now the red has bled into the cream!!! Oh well, a dunking in water/vinegar will either clean up the dye or color all the cream with a redish tint. I don't think 2-at-a-time would work for me either, but I'm going to try a sort of similar method where I buy 2 sets of DPNs and work each part of the sock on both socks before moving on to the next section. It might help my momentum overall.Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18067940144458256920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748150035160477009.post-9253505346798391422015-01-29T08:58:22.525-05:002015-01-29T08:58:22.525-05:00The only thing better than finishing a languishing...The only thing better than finishing a languishing UFO is finishing one that delivers an essential infusion of cheerful, heart-warming color. (Had to laugh----I've juggled legs and feet and camera far less successfully than you; I usually give up and let them photograph on the stretchers; totally cheating in my book) Great looking socks----and that fixation wears like iron!
And the seat cushion.
