A Quiet Moment

Right now, I'm ...

*Contemplating expanding the herb garden and using some fresh rosemary to make this recipe.

*Admiring some yarn candy(skein) and happily dreaming of what they will become.

*Taking advantage of a sudden urge to finish things. Ribbed lace bolero almost ready for seaming and blocking. Still working away on the Stripe Study.

*Dealing with two cases of poison ivy and two very grumpy guys.

*Being thankful for having a quiet, peaceful moment to visit with the talented bloggers participating in WIP Wednesday with TAMI'S AMIS.

Gorgeous skeins. I just bought yarn for my Stripe Study shawl at Maryland Sheep & Wool. Love the way yours is coming along.

  6. I'm jealous of your Candy skeins. I'm plotting for one of my own...
Your bolero looks so cool. I can't wait to see it finished.
Sounds like you are having a blissful day. I've enjoyed living it vicariously through you for a few moments : )

  7. Love the pretty orange and green yarn...sorry to hear about the poison ivy, that can be miserable. Keep you distance, you don't want it. Change their bed sheets often, their wash cloths and towels too.

  11. Lovely yarn, lovely projects, even the rosemary is lovely :-) My sympathy to the family on poison ivy -- some of us here are immune (me!) and some can get an outbreak just by walking by poison ivy.
